Position Summary:
Sales support associates/Loan processors are responsible for assisting sales representatives with the full sales cycle, from application to deal close. It's their responsibility to ensure that all documents and signatures are in order prior to submission, analyze documentation to assess the appropriate lending institution for submission, and be the liaison between sales reps and lenders. Once the approval is received and the deal is closed, the loan processor will need to send agreement documents to the client and collect any additional documentation needed for funding. The ideal candidate should be organized, have strong communication skills, and be very detail oriented. In this position, your chief goal will be to help sales representatives obtain financing approvals in a timely and professional manner and follow up to ensure financing happens quickly and seamlessly. You should have strong communication skills and a service mentality to properly assist both clients and colleagues.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for financing applications
- Enter all relevant data into our Salesforce system
- Complete a soft credit pull via Experian
- Analyze applicant credit status and current financial position
- Match applicant suitability and needs with appropriate lenders and submit an application in conjunction with a salesperson
- Submit files to the designated underwriter
- Follow up and communicate updates to sales representatives and lenders on application status and/or missing information
- Support sales representatives throughout the application process from application to close

A NYC-based small business financing firm is seeking an Accounting Associate/Senior Bookkeeper to join their collegial and dedicated team. This role will participate in accounting tasks, oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information, and develop and implement controls and procedures. To succeed, this person should be analytical, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills along with a strong work ethic.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage invoices, pay bills, and organize and track all income and expenses for two different corporate entities along with the real estate holdings income of the CEO
Manage daily input of all QuickBooks Online entries including AP/AR and Payroll
Evaluate, develop, and work to improve accounting controls, systems, and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency
Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department and ensures that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
Reconcile banking and credit card accounts
Analyze financial data and creates reports for partners, and external parties such as the CPAs, vendors, and lenders.
Assists Business Partners and CFO with budgets and forecasting
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with accounting software, QuickBooks Online required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
